Got a Wintec english all purpose saddle last weekend and tried it out 3 times this week. I like it!! I thought I might feel unsecure in it but that’s not the case. Played with Patterns online and freestyle and having success there. Interestingly, Renegade has met me at the gate 3 times this week (whoopee) - usually he hangs back and I have to go in and play the catching game with him.
Played with some liberty this week and got some nice sideways over BIG poles - very soft and willing, he really put some effort into it!! Also got a couple of circles to the left at walk/trot. He was very soft and willing.
NOW…I need to figure out how to do this in new, distracting, unfamiliar situations. This is a BIG goal for me!!
