Well, when I got home from work, Renegade met me at the gate, nickering to me softly. I decided to just spend some undemanding time with him so I let him out in the yard to graze. He was at liberty and he started to move off from me so I played with disengaging his hq for a bit, then he decided to leave me at a trot so I mirrored him. It was soooo funny, he slowed down and turned to face me so I turned to walk away and he followed. Once he "caught" me, I stopped so he could graze and I was a human curry comb and scratched some of his favorite itchy spots. I then spent some time with my arm over his back from zone 3 and we stuck together while he ate. After about 15", I left him to go start getting the horse's feed ready.
When I got near the pasture, American was standing with her head over the gate and nickering to me, so I decided to bring her out and play with her. I decided to play with trailer loading since I hope to start taking her to a few playdays soon. We wandered over to the general vicinity of the trailer and played 7 games. America was doing great so I sent her to the trailer and she went in with her two front feet but backed out pretty quickly. I played with her in and around the trailer for a while longer and sent her in several more times and she got very confident at putting her two front feet and one back foot in and would stand quietly 3/4 in the trailer while I rubbed her all over. We've got some work to do to get that 4th foot in the trailer but her confidence with tonight's session was amazing. I think she'll be loading confidently in a few more days and I'll be taking her to play days soon!!
After her huge effort at trailer loading we took a break away from the trailer and listened to a friend play her guitar and sing. America seemed very facinated by the whole thing; she was watching and listening! She did this for about the length of two songs and then started grazing while I sat in a chair and listened to the rest of our "concert".
IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT!!!!!

Hi Kathy. Sounds like a great afternoon! My son went out in a friend's pasture while playing with his guitar (we were chatting and he got bored :-) and all the horses followed him around... How interesting!
I think horses like music...
